Pull over safely
Find a level, safe surface away from traffic. Apply the handbrake, switch on hazard lights, and place a warning triangle if you have one.
Remove the flat tyre
Loosen the wheel nuts before jacking. Use the included jack to raise the car, then remove the nuts and lift off the flat tyre.
Fit the Road Hero wheel
Mount the space saver, hand-tighten the nuts, lower the jack, then torque to spec in a star pattern. Check the tyre pressure before driving.
Drive to a tyre fitter at a maximum of 50mph
Space saver wheels are a temporary solution. Drive carefully at no more than 50mph to your nearest tyre fitter to have the flat repaired or replaced.
